Say What?! Public Speaking

Speaking to an audience isn't just about having words come out of your mouth, it's also about your message, which is made through more than just words. Discover the nuances of public speaking in this introductory course. Through improv speeches and interactive challenges, students will learn how to deliver an address to various audiences with proper tone and intonation. They will practice intonation, dictation, gesturing, and other key elements to public speaking. By the end of this class, each student will have the chance to showcase their strategic communication skills by participating in a series of speech and debate challenges.
