Rome, Julius Caesar, and Christianity
Two babes raised by a wolf mother, gladiators, gladiator school, Roman gods to rival the Greek gods-- the huge Roman empire had it all! And fortunately, because of Mt. Vesuvius, the volcano that preserved Pompeii, we know more about Roman life than many other ancient civilizations. How did Julius Caesar rise to power and why was he killed by his fellow senators? And what about the Christians? Why didn’t the Roman leaders like Christians and what did they do to them? It’s an exciting story overflowing with adventure. This is the stuff movies are made of!
