In the United States, Christmas is celebrated on one day in December while in Spain, Christmas is a week-long holiday, dotted with parades, fiestas, and celebration. How do other countries celebrate Christmas? How is the New Year celebrated in Spain versus in China? As these different celebrations take hold, we will explore how culture, language, history, and food play a part in how countries celebrate today. We will join each festivity, gaining a wider understanding of each country as we celebrate with them, be it for a day or month.
