History Meets the Present
We are now exploring the 1980’s, discussing events that have led to our current position in the world today. Iran, Iraq, the U.S.S.R., Africa, and China are some of the key players of the last forty years. Communism crumbles and the Berlin Wall falls. And where are we now? We will discuss the current state of the world in understandable terms and give students skills to discern the truth in the news. Most importantly, we will discuss how we can apply what we have learned from the past towards a better tomorrow.
