It’s a jungle out there. . .and animals must constantly adapt to survive the climatic conditions of the ecosystem, predators, and other species that compete for the same food and space. In this class, we will learn about the most common animal habitats and the adaptations animals have that allow them to live in their habitat. Students will make a diorama of a habitat of their choice and spotlight an animal that would survive in their habitat. Finally, we will learn about food chains and how animals acquire energy needed to survive.
