Career Fair for Kids: Live Speaker Series, Part 2
“You must have long-range goals to keep you from being frustrated by short-range failures.” -- Charles C. Noble
As students move into the middle school years, it is time for them to start thinking about their future. Education is merely a step towards becoming a leader in society. Our Career Fair allows our students to meet people from a variety of careers, who will answer questions about the training necessary, the cost of the training, and the type of lifestyle this job requires and provides. We want our students to have exposure to as many different career options as possible so they can think about what they want in life.
Eight guest speakers will speak with our students, including a vascular surgeon, sheriff, university professor, entrepreneur/farmer, mechanical engineer, overseas embassy employee.
