Navigating the New World: America, Canada, and Mexico (4 weeks)

In 1512, Christopher Columbus discovered a route from Europe to the Indies by going West—or did he? Students discover the mysteries and treasures of the Americas, admire the beautiful and exciting culture of Mexico, and hike in the knee-deep snow of Canada. Washington D.C., San Francisco, New York, Quebec, Ottawa, Paladin de Bellas Artes, and Chichen Itza become familiar places as students explore the Western Hemisphere.

Sights and Spice in South America: Chile and Peru (4 weeks)

Enter the colorful culture of South America, walk along the streets and beaches, and expect to hear music you nod your head to and languages as diverse–and seemingly numerous–as the pebbles on the road. Gaze at the Andes Mountains from the fascinating city of Santiago, and soak in the natural beauty of Lima, Peru. Listen to the stories of Cape Horn, known for having the most perilous waters in the world. Look out at the world from Machu Picchu. Latch onto quiet moments in the Sacred Valley. Keep your eyes open–you might miss something if you blink.

Sailing in the South Pacific: Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea (4 weeks)

Nothing compares to the culture and life met while sailing through the South Pacific. In Australia, listen to your footsteps echo through the Sydney Opera House, an architectural masterpiece of the 20th century. Dip your feet into the water of the Great Barrier Reef, stretching over 134,600 square miles and protecting over 400 types of coral. Sail into New Zealand, and cross items off your bucket list: Take the Wellington Cable Car, admire Larnach Castle, and explore the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, a protected historical site. Travel north to Papua New Guinea, scale Mount Wilhelm, and navigate Port Moresby with an artful eye and joyful heart. Remember: exploring the South Pacific requires that you keep your eyes open and your sunscreen on.

We Wandered West... Now What?: The Western Hemisphere (4 weeks)

Nearly untouched until the 15th century, the Western Hemisphere exhaled life, passion, and beauty. Rediscover the New World and the South Pacific. Bask in the beauty of Canada’s Quebec, California’s San Francisco, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, and Peru’s Ballestas Islands. Watch civilizations mold themselves, cities rise, and life flourish throughout these breath-taking countries. Step right in and get lost in the Western Hemisphere.
