So much happened during this thirty-year span: Model T’s, airplanes, radios, Prohibition, jazz, the Roaring Twenties, Babe Ruth, flappers, the Depression, and two World Wars. From woman’s suffrage to Babe Ruth’s home runs, from Louis Armstrong’s jazz to Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s four presidential terms, from the finale of one world war to the dramatic close of the second, we will study some of the most exciting years in U.S. history. With the end of WWI, many Americans decided to live it up: going to the movies, driving cars, and cheering at baseball games. However, many more were not experiencing this spree. High unemployment, hard times for farmers, those suffering due to racism, and, finally, the Depression, flip-flopped the country from prosperity to scarcity. Join F.D.R. as he promises a New Deal, giving Americans new hope, and leads the country through the horrors and victories of World War II. These three decades forever change the United States. Don’t miss the adventure!
