“I did not sleep well, though my bed was comfortable enough, for I had all sorts of queer dreams.” Dracula presents readers with a plot composed of letters and journal entries. Similarly, students will use letters and journal entries to construct their own stories, interacting directly with the reader. How do these elements lure the reader on? Students will explore plot twists, various literary devices, and character development, all while making their way through Dracula.
