Are you clever enough to ask the right questions to solve the mystery? Students will study critical thinking skills and ultimately work as police detectives to solve a fun and engaging crime. Through an Escape Room experience, we will begin by learning about different types of forensic evidence: fingerprints, ballistics, handwriting, and more. Using witnesses' statements, police reports, and forensic evidence lab reports, students must apply their critical thinking skills and forensic knowledge to solve this case. As with any investigation, students will need to make inferences and deal with the reality that not all loose ends can be tied up.
Instead of complete dependence on classroom learning and teachers for guidance and instructions, critical thinking allows students to become more self-reliant and independent learners. It also helps the students to evaluate their learning style and recognize their areas of strength and flaws. So why not finetune those critical thinking skills while having a great time? Join us for this cliffhanger of a class!
