Myths in Painting: Greek Vases

Investigate a series of painted vessels to uncover stories about mythical gods and creatures from ancient Greece. Through interactive conversation with a Museum educator, you will explore the poses, symbols, materials, and artistic techniques used by makers to learn more about how ancient Greeks interacted with the world. Think about how you would tell a story in a single image by using your newly trained eye to match Greek myths to their correct pottery pieces.
