A Christmas Carol- Charles Dickens
This novel highlights the plight of the poor. It forced an entire society to recognize and acknowledge their own wrongs and taught them that we are responsible for the well-being and condition of our fellow man. It teaches the importance of looking beyond our own comforts and life and recognizing the impact that our actions and decisions have on those around us. Through this novel we can discover the ultimate result of our negligence on those less fortunate than ourselves.
